ONE PAGE REPORT

 LiDAR SURVEY AND SPATIAL MAPPING OF TIMOR-LESTE TERRITORY

On 19 of March 2015 at IPG-IP meeting room, the Technical Team and Working Group with Consultant KARVAK NUSA GEOMATIKA has been organized meeting based on agenda invitation “Progress and Report Implementation of LiDAR Project”.
During the meeting there are some points that consider as important and need to put in consideration;

       1.      Progress of the Project
Working Group and Technical Team suggested to the Consultant for maintain the S-curve based on TOR.
      2.      Data Quality and Security
Quality and data security is a barometer for the success of the project. The Consultant agreed, committed and guarantees for this before hand over all the data’s to Government of RDTL. 
      3.      The Obstacles that has been facing by the Consultant during project implementation
§ Weather, is unpredictable and became one of the factors that caused for LiDAR and Aerial Photo acquisition process.
§ Electricity support, EDTL supply is not stable at IPG-IP office was caused in delays of data processing. The Working Group members suggested, for Electricity Power IPG-IP recommend to the line Ministers to facilitate EDTL power line to IPG office through project owner MOF.
§ Security Clearance, Based on TOR was mentioned that to implement LiDAR data acquisition will used 2 aircraft’s. Until now Consultant is still in stage of flight permit document processing because the second aircraft was registered in Australia so the aircraft will constraints during the crossing or maneuver in the region for the border between Indonesia and Timor-Leste.
Through all the obstacles that have been raise by the consultant above, the LiDAR project Adviser Prof. Ketut Wikantika was informed to the Consultant to accumulate all the information in report and proposing the additional time based on consultant projection. There is no budget for addendum time and consultant consider as their responsible. 
      4.      Capacity Building
§ Technical Team was suggested through Working Group members to focus on application using GIS system and to do spatial analysis in Capacity Building part 2 that has been scheduled on April 13-25, 2015 at Bandung ITB.
